My Father Special "S"

My Father Special S

Origin : NicaraguaMy Father Cigars
Format : Robusto
Size : 5 x l
Wrapper : Nicaragua*
Filler : Nicaragua*
Binder : Nicaragua*
Manus-Made
Price : event but release (MSRP: $x)

Beginning in 2011, the My Father Cigar Company began handing out special cigars to customers that purchased boxes at events. The My Male parent Special S is rumored to be based on the company'due south very-limited 2007 release El Centurion. The sample smoked for review was i from a package of three I received after purchasing a box of My Begetter Cigars. As I began searching and asking for information on the blend, the closest answer I got is that the blend is based off the original El Centurion blend which is a Nicaraguan puro. Interestingly, at that place are really ii special "result-just" cigars that My Father Produces; the Special "S" and the Special "S" White Characterization. I was told by a very reputable dealer that the "White label" will stay an event only release, while you can find a few dealers that sell the "Special S" in boxes of 3, which retail for near $thirty a box.

I have been a large fan of the regular My Father cigars, but never gave the Le Bijou line a run a risk until now. My local B&K, Habana Firm in Austin, had just gotten a new shipment of these in months ago and were recommended for me to try out past Abdul, the manager of Habana House. I obliged due to the fact that the new Le Bijou was in my favorite vitola, a petit or short robusto. I also had to endeavor it due to the fact that the new Le Bijou was sporting the infamous pelo de oro wrapper. So here is what I idea…

As the Son of the Begetter & Son cigar review team known as the Tollaficionados, one would recollect that this would fit right in to our trivial theme. Well continue thinking. We have a special invitee reviewer assisting me on laying forth the positives and negatives this time effectually. Uncle Beak from Ohio came into town to sit down in on a session of tobacco worship, and requite his opinions on the My Father Le Bijou 1922.

Le Bijou, French for "the jewel" was a blend created by Jose Don Pepin Garcia to laurels his late begetter afterwards Jose's son, Jamie, created the original My Father blend to honor him. 1922 refers to the year of Jose'south father's birth. The new alloy utilizes a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper in contrast to the original My Male parent series which uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The wrapper change gives Le Bijou a fuller body and more depth of flavor. I want to transport a shout out to Jeremy Soares of My Father Cigars and everybody over at buttheadstobacco.com for making this review possible.
